Use:
Wash the sandwich iron with water before first use. The sandwich iron can withstand high heat and all types of utensils, even metal. Use butter or oil in the iron to ensure it is well browned. Once the sandwich iron is browned, only a little fat is needed.
Care:
Wash by hand with hot water without detergent. The sandwich iron must not be washed in the dishwasher. Dry with kitchen paper. It is advisable to grease the iron to avoid rust. Burnt-on food residues can be removed and the sandwich iron cleaned with steel wool (without detergent), or equivalent. The iron should then be fried again. If rust forms, do the same.
