The Opti-fuel Optimus Polaris stove will never let you go hungry. Since the stove can be powered by either; gas, kerosene, gasoline, diesel or jet fuel, you can be sure to find fuel for your Polaris, no matter where in the world you are.
More about Optimus Polaris
Thanks to the fact that the stove runs on so many different types of fuel, it can be used regardless of the season and weather. The included wind shield helps to maximize the effect when cooking on, for example, wind-swept plateaus. The integrated support legs provide good stability thanks to their short length and therefore a very low center of gravity, which reduces the risk of the pan tipping over the burner.
Polaris is equipped with the Flipstop™ fuel pump that both clears the burner of fuel and empties the fuel tank completely so nothing is wasted. The thread on the fuel pump is the same diameter as a gas cylinder, making it easy to switch between gas and liquid fuel without losing loose nipples.
When the stove is powered by gas, you can also choose to turn the gas cylinder upside down, which provides extra pressure in the burner but also allows you to use the stove at low temperatures, as gas is normally not as reliable.
Polaris is self-cleaning
Like its half-sister Nova, Polaris also has a "magnetic needle", i.e. a self-cleaning needle that allows you to clean debris out of the burner head while using the stove.
The stove is to be used with an Optimus fuel bottle of 0.4 liter, 0.6 liter or 1 liter. The bottles are intended for storage and pressurization of liquid fuel. They are hardened and have an epoxy-coated inside, which makes them also suitable for alcohol fuels. The bottles also have a child-resistant cap.
