Water purification pump Combi - Katadyn

The Combi is a versatile water purification pump from Katadyn. It is the perfect combination for switching between taking it out into the wilderness, in the camper, on trips around the world, in emergencies, and for occasional use at home. The replaceable activated carbon filter means you get a chemical-free purification that also tastes and smells great.

The ceramic filter can handle down to 0.2 microns, which means it is effective against microorganisms. The function can be compared to a mosquito net in a window, mosquitoes are too big to pass through the fine mesh. The same goes for dirt (bacteria, giardia and cryptosporidium) in the water, it does not pass through the ceramic filter, only the water does. Thanks to the design, this pump can also handle extremely dirty water. The ergonomic handle makes the pump easy to pump with. The bottle adapter at the bottom means that you can pump straight down into, for example, a 1 liter wide-mouth bottle from Nalgene (the coupling is 63 mm, which means it fits all bottles with that diameter). The flow rate is about 1 liter of water / minute and the filter can purify up to 50,000 liters of water before it needs to be replaced. The activated carbon is enough for about 400 liters of water. The low weight of 580 grams makes Combi a perfect companion that keeps the water clean for you. Optimal for hiking, expeditions, aid organizations and military use.
