Minn Kota Heading Sensor to enable use of the JOG function of the PowerDrive BT, Terrova BT and Ulterra BT front-mounted trolling motors.

The product is included in all Terrova BT, Ulterra BT and Ultrex and can be purchased separately for PowerDrive BT.

The product only fits Bluetooth compatible Minn Kota motors!

Information about JOG
If you have the new wireless Heading Sensor connected to the I-pilot system, there is also a JOG function that allows you to jump forward, backward, starboard and port in 1.5 meter steps. If you press forward on the remote control, it jumps 1.5 meters forward. If you press forward 2 times and once to starboard, it jumps 3 meters forward and 1.5 to starboard. No sneaking, but clearly and definitely the electric motor takes its new position!

Technical details

The product only fits Bluetooth compatible Minn Kota motors!

Connects to a power source and then wirelessly via Bluetooth to the motor.
Voltage: 12V (Fused with 1-2A fuse)
Consumption during use: 0.1A

Like the motor, it remembers the connection even if the power is completely cut off. (A circuit breaker can be used if desired)

When mounting, it is important to place the sensor as flat as possible. The stern where the boat is most stable is recommended.

Remember NOT to place it near motors, wiring that handles a lot of current, batteries, compasses, speakers or other electronic devices that can interfere with the heading sensor. 60 cm is a good minimum to minimize the risk of interference.

One tip is to turn on all the electronics in the boat and then go with a compass and check where there is the least interference on board.
