The Minn Kota Ultrex BT i-Pilot is a cable-controlled electric motor with i-Pilot features.
Spinning anglers who want full control of their boat choose wire steering for its superior feel and feedback in the foot pedal. In the past, many have abandoned either Spot-Lock or cable steering in favor of the other.
Minn Kota Ultrex offers the same feel as traditional wire steering and all the features of the i-Pilot system. Read more about i-Pilot here.

To connect the built-in US2 transducer, a specific adapter cable is required depending on which sonar it is to be connected to. See "MKR-US2 US2 adapter cable" under accessories.
The cable to connect the US2 sensor has a range of approximately 0.5 meters. See "MKR-US2-11 univ. s2 ext. cable" for 4.4 meter extension cable.
Choose the right rig length:
Recommended rig length depends on the distance from the top of the bow to the waterline.
